Current Projects

The Clay County Utility Authority is always working to provide better utility services to our customers and to expand our service area, while causing as little inconvenience as possible. The Authority currently has construction crews working on projects in the following areas:

Meadowbrook Water Treatment Plant Improvements

The Meadowbrook Water Treatment Plant is currently undergoing a series of infrastructure improvements designed to enhance system reliability and support future service needs. This project includes upgrades to storage tanks, piping, and other critical plant equipment. Construction began in 2026 and is anticipated to continue through June 2027.

Work is being completed in phases to allow for continued plant operations throughout construction. As each phase progresses, activity levels may vary, with periods of more visible construction followed by quieter intervals.

Construction activities are generally scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. During this time, residents in the surrounding area may notice increased noise or construction traffic, particularly near the Lido and Cottonwood entrances.
